Description
xThe 018 selection is 100 % Chardonnay from Grand Cru villages of Avize, Oger, and Cramant, which is entirely different from the 017 as that was 100% Pinot Noir. The Cuvee was selected from old vines, with 2g/l of dosage.
The wine's character on the nose evokes key lime, yogurt, koji, cheesecake, sweet brioche, lemon, and apple. The palate is not super robust but still very giving, with citrus showing a pithier and zestier note due to the acid. A slight phenolic character is present on the mid-palate and finish, with a touch of flinty reductiveness throughout.
